HISTORY
Renshaw’s Pedal Project RPP's Meetup rides started on Zwift on the 15th June 2021, with the first of its Chop Off Tuesday Rides. Back then there were 2 rides a week with the 'No Drop' weekly social ride on the Thursday morning at 6:15am.
This 2021 inaugural series was a success, in fact due to the Covid Pandemic it was the only social cycling available. The lead to the “RPP Lockdown Special Zwift Event” on the 21st August 2021. Which drew riders across the region.
In 2022 and 2023 the ride has established itself on a Tuesday evening at 6pm, generally on a 20km course (such as Watopia Flat Route) with riders sticking together for the first half of the course before racing to the finish and having a crack at the sprint.
In 2024 the RENSHAW’S BIKES WINTER ZWIFT SHOP RIDES are back starting Tuesday 4th June 2024
DETAILS 2024 Winter Series
Race 1 – 04/06/2024 – 20km on the Watopia Flat Route
Ride details – All grades ride together – For first half bunch roll for all riders, stronger riders working as sweeps so all riders keep together – Second half stronger riders can attack and race to finish.
