2018 Tour de Tochigi (UCI 2.2)
Plenty of local interest in the 2nd Tour de Tochigi in Japan over the weekend with Orange Cyclist (& current Albury Resident) Tim Guy having his first start with his Ljubljana Gusto Xaurum Team and Timís Team Mate Ben Hill returning to Japan for the race after breaking his back in Chaina

The 3 Stage Tour started with a Prologue over 7.25km which was won by Aussie Michael Potter, it was a good start for Ljubljana Gusto Xaurum with Ben Hill 5th overall and Tim Guy 36th.

Stage 2 was the Tourís Hilly Day with Ben Hill racing aggressively to move into contention in the KOM Jersey however, at the end of the day it was Australian Cycling Academyís Michael Potter who again won with Ben Hill slipping down to 12th in the stage at 41sec.

The Final Stage resulted in Team UKYO sprinter Kreder Raymond winning a bunch sprint which included Tim Guy and the Ljubljana Gusto Xaurum Team leading out Leader Ben Hill for an impressing 4th with Tim Guy hanging on for a top 15 finish.

Aussie Michael Potter was an impressive winner of the tour with Ben Hill finishing 10th overall for Team Ljubljana Gusto Xaurum at 1:06 (Tim Guy 37th on GC). Hill also runner-up to Robbie Hucker in the KOM Jersey and 3rd in the Sprint Jersey.
