ENTERING THE TOUR --
The AusCycling Esports Tour from Friday, 29 October to Sunday, 31 October will be the first AusCycling-sanctioned multi-stage tour on Zwift.
Western NSW interclub Challenge
Stage 1 in the Tour (6:30pm, Friday 29th October) – Will also double as the 2021 Western NSW interclub ITT Esport Challenge.
This is an Individual Time Trial, it is unclear if it will be a mass start in the starting pen, or individual starts with something like 15sec gap on a conveyor belt setup, (or event double conveyor start where you start in pairs).
Really it doesn’t matter, as generally in zwift Time Trial means there is no assistance sitting behind someone. In other words the competitors around you are of little consequence.. You are just riding as hard as you can for 8kms.
Also unclear at this point whether you will be automatically setup on a zwift TT rig.. But I expect so.
Also worth noting on the Bologna Time Trial Lap the final climb is where the most time is won or lost.
