Bcc Graded Scratch Races (April 28th 2018)

After a B2B and R.H.Harris Anzac Trophy racing returned to normal this weekend for a normal Graded Scratch Race club event.

Plenty of Quality in A Grade however early in the event one of the race favourites Tom Bolton of Oliverís Real Food Racing had mechanical trouble and was forced out of the event. Josh Corcoran (GMP Stulz) showed plenty of power during the race with some aggressive riding however in the closing stages it was Brad Rayner (d2f) who counter attacked of a Mark Windsor attack that looked a chance of stealing a solo win however Will Hodges (GPM Stulz) quickly closed it down and it came down to a sprint between Harry Carter (d2f) and Josh Corcoran for the win. Harry taking the win, with Brad Rayner Mark Windsor and Will Hodges finishing behind 2nd placed Josh Corcoran.
Will Lesh continues to impress on the bike winning B Grade Scratch Race he defeated Rob Stephen and Jono Cutler.

Promising young climber Daniel Googe wons his first Road Event defeating another in form newcomer Tony Shaw in C Grade event, with Damien Bennett defeating Glen Partridge and Mark Sutton in sprint for third.

While local World Champ Rosemary Hastings took another win in the local Bcc D Grade event.
