Locals in form at prestigious Canberra Tour:

Exciting to have some riders on the podium at the "Peter Blackshaw Real Estate Canberra Junior & Women's Tour", which has been a prestigious event for junior and female cyclist for many years and Bathurst Cycling Club has an excellent record in.

Star of the show was young Paige Squire who won the overall Under 11s Female Division.

Bathurst as in the top 5 overall in the male and Female division of the Under13s with Cadel Lovett and Ebony Robinson (only her first year in the division) both finishing the tour 4th overall after some consistent finishes in the stages.

Ben Anderson (OrangeCC) and Luke Tuckwell have both been performing well in the open Bathurst racing recently where impressive in the Under 15s Mens event finishing 2nd and 4th overall.

Bathurst under 17 rep Kalinda Robinson sadly had to withdraw due to illness and worth mentioning neighboring club Dubbo performance with Dylan Eather & Haylee Fuller 2nd overall in the men and women’s events

Former Bathurst rider Emily Watts continued her great recent form with a big win in the under 19s women event of course our young star Harrisen Bryant was out of the Canberra tour after his terrible fall in the B2B, but the great news is he is out of hospital, which is a mighty achievement in itself, given his extensive injuries.
In the Open Age Womens race Bathurst was represented by Laura Renshaw who rode well to finish 11th overall in Div2.
