2022 Western Division Junior and Senior Road Championships

TO - Western Div Committee and clubs
Re - 2022 WD Champs
Hi All - Looking to lock in some details on the 2022 Western Division Road (&Esport) Championships
Covid Lock downs cancelled the Road event in 2022 (plus Road Permissions are proving to be a big hurdle to the future of the event)
Last year Bathurst was going to run the event of course covid cancelled everything in the end and we just held a Western Div Esports Championship
So in 2022:
Bathurst Cycling Club potentially can run the event around September as part of their Club Program (TBC).. But again though we should check if another Club wants to run the event.
If no objections will ask the club whether they will be able to schedule it into the club’s program.
Meanwhile the ESports Titles last year seemed to have been a very easy way to keep a Western Division Cycling Championship going, and expect all to agree that we run the event again along the guidelines used last year.. ie using the local club results in the final round of Part 1 of the Auscycling Esports Series on the
6.30pm AEST Thursday 26th May - Makuri Islands (Electric Loop Course)
With a Western Div ITT title potentially later in the series – TBC.
