Day1
The Husky Ocean Swim got the weekend underway on Day 1 with top Bathurst swimmer Nick North finishing 6th overall in the 1km event and winning his Age Category.

Day 2 - Triathlons and Running Festival:
The day started with the Mens Sprint Triathlon which was a sell out; the big field starting the 750m swim 20km Cycle and 5km run at 7am. Both Mark Windsor and Andrew Knox made the podium, Windsor winning his age category and 26th overall while Andrew Knox finished an exciting 3rd in the 14-15yrs division. It was a big weekend for Knox who also had his school Swimming Carnival on the previous day and then backed it up by racing the long course teams section on the Sunday, Andrew’s Sister Sarah Knox also racing in the afternoon junior events. After a break from the sport both Kerryn Windsor (38th) and Jack English (44th) performed well to earn a top 50 category ranking at Husky, while the team of Brooke Tuynman & Sally Taggart combined to win Silver in the Women's Relay Event with last years winner Tegan Kastelein Michelle & Meg Windsor finished 5th in the event in 2016.

James Patterson was one of Bathurst’s star performers in the Enticer Triathlon finishing in the top 10 of the 12-13yrs division. While Bathurst had 2 winners in the popular running events in the afternoon with both Blair Hurst and Mark Windsor winning their categories, Hurst the second male overall in the 10km race recording 37:06 and Windsor 5th overall Male in the 5km race stopping the clock at 18min 17sec. Also performing well in the run events included Joel Hartman 7th in the 30-39yrs 10km division, while Sam and Will Patterson both made the top 5 of their division in the 5km run.

Day 3 - Husky Long Course Tri:
Nick North time of 3:56:35 was an indication of his impressive form at the moment as he finished an amazing 8th Overall in the long course triathlon behind superstar Craig Alexander and also winning his very competitive 25-29yrs age category (which also included Bathurst Tom Hanrahan in the top 10 and Zack Baker also breaking the 5hour barrier). Dennis Martin finished second in his age group with a very slick 4:33:28 Luke 5:29 50, Luke and Danielle Patterson also impressive with a great finish in the demanding long course event.
Disappointment for Jimmy Byrne who has been racing in Bathurst recently with a fall at the start of the cycle leg forcing him out of the event.
