DETAILS
Oatley Winery on Craigmoor Road, Mudgee will be the venue for the 2015 Road Race Championships with the Individual Time Trial Championships to be on Wilbertree road.

The Robert Oatley 'Craigmoor' winery and vineyard is oldest in Mudgee is continuing to support cycling and the Western NSW Cycling Championships by donating some of their wine and allowing the organisers to use their facility for the Championships. With such a quality product we expect competitors to support the historic winery as it offers such an outstanding venue for the championships.

The course for the road races will be slightly different to that of the recent CNSW open event as the western region event doesn’t go onto the Ulan Road, it will be about 55km and not as difficult.

Sadly the cancelling of the 2015 Western Division Road couldn't be avoided - For most of the year the club battled with gaining road permissions for any racing at all. Once resolved both Mudgee Cycle & Tri Clubs were committed to the Mudgee Running festival plus the Mudgee Wine Festival is also playing havoc with scheduling of the Western Division Titles. All Alternates were considered and but it simply became to difficult. Orange Cycling club have already suggested a proposed date for the 2016 Western Division in September.
