Round 2 InterClub Triathlon Championship

Round 2 - Cowra - 21st Jan 2018
Mudgee’s Matt Webster has moved to the top of the Central Tablelands outright men’s ranking after defeating Bathurst’s Mark Windsor at the latest round in Cowra, Orange pair David Searle and Jack Bilton finished 3rd and 4th overall. Tom Hanrahan was next giving Bathurst two athletes in the top 5 and Dubbo’s Craig May rounded out the top 6 overall.

Orange again dominated the Female Classification with Estelle Dean moving to the top of the female rankings, and Jessica Richards and Jessie Dean taking second and third at Cowra. Mudgee’s Giselle Denley continues to impress finishing 4th infront of Abby Dean and Alison Dermody.

The exciting news for Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon Club is with the new points format they now lead the Team Championships after strong performances across the age groups. Bathurst currently leads on 693.6pts with Orange on 501 and Mudgee 474.6.

Steve Jackson was an impressive winner of his age group while Luke Gillmer returned to the regional championship with a win in his age group. Also performing very well - Candice Falconer, Tim Scott and Danny Weal who all placed in their age categories. While Danielle Patterson Jane Bennett Luke Patterson Pat Vallimore Richard Blackie and Alex Macquarrie all scored good points for finishing in the top 8 in there age divisions
