Renshaw Building-up nicely for the 2018 Season
Mark Renshaw is building up form nicely after having to start his 2018 Preseason Training later than normal due to illness; The Bathurst rider recovered enough to started the Tour Down Under after his participation was in doubt and then race the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

He was certainly back into the swing of thing for the Dubai Tour when joining the Dimension Data sprint train to assisting Team Leader Mark Cavendish to a sprint win in stage 3.

With the Renshaw Cavendish combination again together, there was plenty of anticipation that Cavendish would be in the mix at the Abu Dhabi Tour. However a fall sent the British sprinter home early and the team had to change all the pre races plans.

Mark Renshaw finished the Abu Dhabi Tour in 108th place 15:09 behind winner Alejandro Valverde who snatched the lead off Wilco Kelderman in the final stage. After a top 10 finish in Stage 2 behind Viviani and 14th in Stage 3 Mark Renshaw finished 29th in the Point Classification behind Elia Viviani and he was 12th overall in the Sprint Classification behind Russian Nikolay Trusov.
