Renshaw to race the 53rd Tirreno-Adriatico:
There is little doubt that the Tirreno-Adriatico World Tour race has become an important lead up to the grand tours and with a team time trial at Cholet (Stage3) in this yearís Tour de France the teams are bring their top GC riders to the Italian event in 2018.

In 2018 Froome, Dumoulin, Aru, Bennett, Uran, Meintjes, Jungels, Landa, Roglic, Yates, Bardet and Nibali are all on the initial start list ahead of the seasons major tours; with all teams focusing on the stage one 21.5km TTT and the final stage 10km ITT to iron out any problems before the Tour de France.
However, the Sprinters are here too with fast men including Sagan, Ewan, Gaviria, Colbrelli, Modolo, Matthews, Nizzolo, Kittel and of course Mark Cavendish. Cavendish will had his key fast men at the race including Eisel, Boasson-Hagen, Thwaites and of course Mark Renshaw in the Dimension Data Team with Bathurstís Mark Renshaw back at the race after participating in the event last year.
One rider notable by their absence is last years winner Nairo Quintana who has opted to racing in Catalunya instead, leaving 2017 runner up Rohan Dennis  as the top ranked rider from last year. However his BMC team is aiming more at stage wins now Richie Porte has withdrawn from the event as they still have plenty of fire power in their roster including climber Damiano Caruso and 2016 winner Van Avermaet.

Peter Sagan is an interesting rider in the race as he has 7 stage wins and came within 1 second of winning overall in 2016.
